Abstract

Since the Korean troops are arrived at BinhDinh and Cam-Rham bay, Oct. 1965, the epidemiological surveys on the symptomatic and asymptomatic malaria have been observed for one year. And then the distribution of larvae of anopheline (vectors) have been observed simultaneously. The results were as follows.
1. Which are considering as vectors of malaria were A. minimus. A. tesselatus. A. balabacensis or leucosphyrus, A. hyrcanus sinensis or nigerimus and A. annularis those were collected by everymonth. Of them A. balatacensis is more well collected in mountains area than other species, A. hyrcanus sinensis in field areas and A. minimus in above both areas.
2. Particulary, A. minimus, A. balabacensis and A. hyrcanus sinensis were more frequently collected in about one to two months before the peak of malaria prevalence.
3. In the plane area the collection of larvae was impossible in dry season. form Feb. to June.
4. In the mountains area the collection of larvae was impossible in havy rainy season, Oct., Nov., and December.
